Jim's Background
Jim Fowler is a singer, songwriter and teacher living in Mesa, Arizona.
He earned a B.A. in music in 1976 from Sonoma State College and is a former member of West Coast Songwriters Association. He has received awards for performance and composition and his songs have had airtime on California radio stations as well as NPR.
He has a unique talent for capturing the essence of a person’s life in a song so that others may know that person through his music. His album ‘People and Places’ is a collection of songs inspired by significant people and events in his life.
His music can be characterized as folk/rock with a twist of classical and a slice of country.
